Mini-doc
Mini-doc shoulder bag
While people are hand making many different beautiful metal frame carring bag, I was thinking how to dispose of those defective metal frames.
I take away the screws from both sides, slipcovered by a drawstring pouch, and riveted the metal frame back together, it works! IT WORKS!!
Dachshund doc pouch is beautifully made!
However the metal frame is not exactly the size I want, and I keep modifying the shape of the bag until its perfect.
It took me a long time until I give birth to this polka dot mini-doc, but its worth, of course. Quite many people love it, and I'm gonna make myself one or two more for everyday use.
The size is perfect, big enough for my "everything".

Mama shoes
easy steps ...
easy stitches...
I was thinking how to tie up in order to wear both sides and finally I found out it works with the knot fastener!

The mama shoes workshop overran by one hour only because the girls were threatened by REDO, and they did very well!
I prepared six packs of material in 6 different color and it seems girls tend to like violet.
Pink is not my first choice of color, however, one of the girls has finished 1 of her girlie pattern shoes and the outcome of this pink set is unexpectedly good!
Weeks ago, I was preparing the mat for the class and it's really really definitely useful for the sewing girls. I know I could make it differently with some decorations or so, but it would be more user-friendly if I keep it simple. With a little case at the corner makes it very convenient for placing the little stuffs while sewing, and it's easy to unfasten for storage. The after-use feedbacks are positive :)

baby shoes workshop
Usually I spend at least twelve hours ahead on preparation, just be.cause I am slow and it always come up with better idea in the last momment.
I find it easier in handling a small group, saying four to seven people.
It's kind of a way to keep the quality and I cloudn't imagine how terrible it will be if I am the only person to teach in a big group with my weak voice. It's also a problem if there are only two or three girls in a sewing class because less people always bring less idea and silly jokes. And the reason of having a standard size of group is for all to share their thoughts and bringing out the difficulties in sewing. It's never a bad thing to tell us your weaknesses or ridiculas thoughts, because that's just the thing we need to share, and it's the key of handmade. It's more worthy in joining a group than a one to one class. The price of these workshop is not about the money you paid but the thing you gain. Not getting something in solid, but the technique you learn and everything that people share in the group.
Lately I spent very little time on my personal stuff, so many things that has been waiting for me for weeks still haven't been done yet. and hopefully I can get more holiday in Oct.

Great news!
One of the great news of this week is to know one of my coin purse is sold!! YAY!!!
It's more than happy to know it because I did not expect to sell any of my items through this way. NOT becuase of the quality, I am quite proud of my handwork! But I had a thought that adding new items to my shop is a way to get to know worldwide craft creators more than just business.
The following great news of the week is I finally finish preparing the snap button set, baby shoes kit set recipe, and nu baby shoes patterns for LBE. Drafting nu pattern seems easier than wording recipe. Somehow I think I am responsible for making new pattern for the comers and don't let them down.

tangerine summer
when I pick up this tangerine color cloth, it reminds me the taste of the juice that I tried years ago.
I was expecting fresh orange juice, and the waiter gave me the juice and the taste was weird. Then he told me it was tangerine juice, at first I didn't like it, and later, I kinda love it!
What should I do to turn the cloth into some thing so I could memorise that summer?
Eventually, the tangerine summer series has been made , and three of them share the same tangerine round slightly flattened shape!

folded wallet
It took me hours to finish this wallet but it's worth. As I want my 2nd original pattern of wallet (the 1st was the Dianne wallet, it was a long bound wallet), I have do it from drafting pattern to fastening the buttons till it's finished ;) *smile*
This folded wallet I made with roses printed linen cotton blend fabric for the front and interfacing, heavy linen in wheat color for the pockets. It would be too dull for the pockets if I use only the linen cloth. so I thought, I need something to piece it together. It took me another hour on matching patching, I was thinking how about lace or some deco tapes? but then I found a perfect piece of printed cloth to patch it up.
It's only 9 x 10cm, not too big! with 5 pockets inside include two credit card slots!
I love this printing very much and its dusty color, so vintage!

tube bag
the pattern is based on the huge dumpling with a wider binding.
I made it a month ago,
and I am still looking for the right rope to finish it.

the big fabric girl
This blog name has been suspended since we started duo. The name was created because of The little match girl. The little match girl in Danish is Den Lille Pige med Svovlstikkerne that means the little girl with matchsticks.
As I am no longer a little girl, I guess it'd be better to translate the Chinese into the big fabric girl (in danish, it should be Den stor pige med stof? :-) ).
I wanted to design a logo to match den stor pige med stof perfectly.
The first step is always difficult...
I was gonna draw a girl who looks like a matryoshka doll, eventually it looks like a Iran girl..
I wish people who love my handmade would love this logo too!
